Preface
In this section the teacher states his/her philosophy and vision of teaching and
academic lifetime.
My vision and philosophy of teaching is based on Transformative Education which
means that Education should transform students. It should enable them to pursue more
knowledge and education beyond the classroom. It also enables students to be in a
process of change for the better. This concept of education is behind the success of
developed countries because they help build students who want to explore more than
what they are taught.
As far as my teaching strategy is concerned, it is based experiential learning. Students
need experience with every word and idiom they learn because this way they will
remember what they are taught.
Another teaching philosophy I have is about teacher-student and classroom practices. I
believe in a student-centred classroom in which student are active learners and do most
of the learning.
As a teacher of English language and literature, my teaching style is a little different
than that of teachers of other specialties because language teaching needs unique
strategies. For example, for me grammar, listening, writing, reading, and writing are the
focus of my classes. I focus on how to incorporate the skills into each other in my
lessons.

My vision and philosophy of teaching is based on Transformative Education which means that Education should transform students. It should enable them to pursue more knowledge and education beyond the classroom. It also enables students to be in a process of change for the better. This concept of education is behind the success of developed countries because they help build students who want to explore more than what they are taught. As far as my teaching strategy is concerned, it is based experiential learning. Students need experience with every word and idiom they learn because this way they will remember what they are taught. Another teaching philosophy I have is about teacher-student and classroom practices. I believe in a student-centred classroom in which student are active learners and do most of the learning. As a teacher of English language and literature, my teaching style is a little different than that of teachers of other specialties because language teaching needs unique strategies. For example, for me grammar, listening, writing, reading, and writing are the focus of my classes. I focus on how to incorporate the skills into each other in my lessons.
