Innovative Approach to Test Management ,[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object]
Quality Intelligence With the latest technology, Zephyr makes it possible to know, in real time, the status of your releases and projects. Full interactive, drill-down data provides access to the information that's most important. Use our out-of-the-box reports and dashboards or use the quality intelligence engine to create your own custom reports. Plus, utilize the first of its kind in QA, dynamic trend reports to plan your upcoming projects appropriately. Executive dashboards enable you to extend always-on access to the information that matters most.
Organize All Your Testcases ORGANIZE, RE-USE, SCHEDULE, ASSIGN AND EXECUTE TEST CASES Zephyr allows you to organize and re-use testcases across your various Projects, releases or Sprints with easy drag-n-drop capability. Have your Test Leads plan out the plan Execution cycles and assign manual and automated test cases to the testing team members in an easy to see, visual format. Assigned testcases are readily available to testers in the Test Execution view from which they can also log defects and map defects to testcase executions and ultimately back to Requirements.
Defect Management Integrate your existing JIRA or Bugzilla implementation with Zephyr or use the full featured built in Defect tracking application. Associating defects with test cases is not a nice to have. It's critical. The unique 2-way integration enables users to file, search, modify or close defects from any of the user interfaces. Important information is easily accessible through out-of-the-box reports, custom reports, dashboards and trending graphs which provides software teams with quality intelligence about the status of their bugs, releases and projects.
Requirements Management Easily link your requirements from anywhere - documents, spreadsheets, links, wikis, Sharepoint, etc. - to testcases in Zephyr. Or, use the out-of-the-box requirements management application. Then, map, author, track and report. In either case, build and manage a test requirements tree per Release or Sprint or store them in the global repository. Drag-n-drop individual requirements or entire repositories for additional productivity. You have complete flexibility.
Automation Integration Every team is performing test automation or has plans to implement a test automation strategy. Continue to use existing automation tools with Zephyr and have confidence in selecting any additional commercial or open-source automation tool(s) too like QTP, SilkTest, Rational Robot, Selenium, JUnit, Watir, TestComplete, eggPlant, LoadRunner, SilkPerformer, etc. Or use your home-grown or bespoke automation tools and integrate those too. This is the ultimate in automation integration flexibility. Keep track of the percentage of your suite has been automated while continuing to build out automation scripts. Track, manage, execute and report on all automation activities.
Web Services APIs The Zephyr Platform is a modern, SOA based Management Platform leveraging the best of advanced technologies. We have designed the platform in this manner to allow for easy integration with many of the third party tools QA teams typically use in their day to day work - Defect tracking systems, Requirements management tools and Automation frameworks. This architecture also allows for the development of Web Services APIs that put the power of integrations in the QA teams' hands. With the introduction of Zephyr 3.0, our team has introduced the first set of many Web Services APIs. These include the ability o access Testcase tree structures, create new Execution cycles and add testcase results among many other APIs. For more information on our Web Services APIs and details on which APIs are available, access the Zephyr Developer Zone .

Administration One of several goals we set for ourselves in bringing an innovative approach to Test Management was to ensure a platform that was easy to install and maintain. As a part of this, Zephyr provides a simple to use Administration application available to the Test Manager wherein you can quickly configure and customize Zephyr to suit your organization's needs. Configure and customize with a few mouse clicks! Zephyr's Administration application allows you to add resources and assign them to one or more projects, add projects and assign Test Leads to each project, customize Zephyr wherein you can define custom fields for both Test cases and Requirements and define custom roles outside of the standard Test Manager, Test Lead and Tester roles. The Administration application is also where you can select the Defect tracking system (DTS) to use - the built-in DTS, JIRA or Bugzilla. Zephyr also comes standard with Backup and Restore scripts that make safeguarding your test assets a breeze. Of course, if you were to choose our SaaS Delivery option, we'll take care of backups and restores for you.
Bring organization and testcase reusability into your testing
