11. Administration One of several goals we set for ourselves in bringing an innovative approach to Test Management was to ensure a platform that was easy to install and maintain. As a part of this, Zephyr provides a simple to use Administration application available to the Test Manager wherein you can quickly configure and customize Zephyr to suit your organization's needs. Configure and customize with a few mouse clicks! Zephyr's Administration application allows you to add resources and assign them to one or more projects, add projects and assign Test Leads to each project, customize Zephyr wherein you can define custom fields for both Test cases and Requirements and define custom roles outside of the standard Test Manager, Test Lead and Tester roles. The Administration application is also where you can select the Defect tracking system (DTS) to use - the built-in DTS, JIRA or Bugzilla. Zephyr also comes standard with Backup and Restore scripts that make safeguarding your test assets a breeze.
