Introduction
Soccer finishing drills are of crucial importance in modern
soccer coaching, since soccer players are forced to make
shooting attempts more and more afar due to the well-
organised defence strategies of the opposing team.
Effective finishing is influenced by a number of factors
like kicking techniques, realisation of the shooting
opportunity/ situation, appropriate situation of the foot
and body, etc.
This e-book provides you with soccer finishing drills
focusing mostly on developing physical abilities such as
reaction ability, agility, speed and speed endurance.
Among the exercises you will find not only simple and fun
games but also complex exercises and tasks requiring
high-level concentration that ensure the development of
your players. In the improvement of speed a motivational
basis can easily be reached by making the games informal
and competitve. This E-book also contains exercises by
the application of which you can get your players to the
desired motivational level. Parallel with the improvement
of physical abilities you can develop the players' kicking
techniques, practise finishing and the aim of soccer,
which is scoring a goal.
