you think would be a suitable position for the
title? Top, Bottom or Center?
14. > add some details of the
ocean around the title so
that it would cohesive to
the rest of the poster.!
> Your poster should look
like this now. !
15. POSTER : Dolphin and Turtle
• Dolphin and turtles are the main characters

27. POSTER : SAVE THE OCEAN..
HOW?
• For the segment, we are going to think about
how we can use recycled material to created
a design with a slogan that says “Don’t
Throw Litter”.
• There are many things we can use like plastic
bags, small plastic bottles, small cans,
Styrofoam boxes etc.
28. POSTER : SAVE THE OCEAN..
HOW?
• We can cut a segment of the recycled object
into an interesting shape (organic shape).
• It would be pasted on the bottom of the poster.
29. POSTER : SAVE THE OCEAN..
HOW?
• With the same logic and
steps as the headlines,
apply colours on the
wordings and stick them
onto the recycled object.
• If you are using plastic, you
will need some scotch-
tape (use sparingly) as glue
does not stick well with
plastic.
30. POSTER : Touching-up
• Touching-up means to add details to make your
design more complete. Like
1. Seaweed?
2. Small fishes as the background?
3. Bubbles? etc.
• Make sure everything is stuck on properly and
nothing will fall off.
• Make sure that you have applied colours
properly and add in pattern, if needed.
31. POSTER : Touching-up
• BEFORE YOU DO ANYTHING, ASK THE ARTIST
THE FOLLOWING QUESTIONS ABOUT THE
POSTER:
1. Are there enough details? Will it be too messy?
2. Is it too empty? Are there too much blank space?
3. Will it look more interesting if I add this?
These are design decisions that artists need to
make. Try to have an image in your head and use
your imagination to help you.
