Outline to Day 5
• In Period 2 you will finish off your lesson
  and check it through to make sure it is
  “OFSTED” quality
• In Period 3 you will present your lesson
  to the other departments in your school,
  answer questions and get feedback

• Has your course got a main title?
• Do have a picture linked to the subject
• Have you altered the labels and made the
  font more exciting?
• Have you instructions for each section
  and links to relevant helpsheets
• How easy is it to move through the
  lesson – have you broken up the text?
• Are you relying on the Scroll of death?
Other Thoughts…
• Remember – you cannot upload any
  Word, PowerPoint or Moviemaker file
• Have you considered converting Word or
  PowerPoint to PDF files
• Have you considered making it into a
  Scribd document or making an e-book
  using www.snacktools.com
• Have you included a range of tasks for
  each part of the course
Period 2
• Meet together at beginning of the session
• Agree what each person will do
• Meet again 10mins before end of the lesson
  to check if everyone has done their bit
• Make a brief plan on how you are going to
  present your lesson to the group
• Get ready to present in Period 3
Period 3
• Each Department presents their lesson
  including all sections
• Presentations no more than 5minutes
• Departments then given aural feedback
  from other groups by mentioning
  – 1 or 2 WWW (What works well..)
  – 1 or 2 EBI (Even Better If…)
• Headteachers could take notes and
  suggest their own WWW and EBI
