ANNUAL MEETING NOTICE
Sunday, October 18, 1:30 pm
The Smith family, Alicia, Colton and Ryan
and their cow, Lilly, on their farm on Griffin
Road in Gilmanton. The Smiths purchased
the two fields on the westerly side of Route
107 overlooking Loon Pond, subject to the
conservation easements. They will use the
fields to grow hay and other forage for their
animals. Sale of the fields was the final
step to complete the project to preserve
some of the most special land formerly
owned by George Twigg III.
Gilmanton Land Trust Annual Meeting
Sunday, October 18, 1:30 pm at the home of
Graham Wilson, corner of Loon Pond Road
and Meadow Pond Road.
Officers and Board Members. Up for
reelection to the board are Tom Howe and
Fuzz Freese. Fuzz has served as chair, Eliza
Evans as vice chair, Carolyn Baldwin as
secretary and John Dickey is treasurer.
Carolyn Baldwin will step down as secretary..
Meg Nighswander also wishes to step off the
board.
Following the meeting, Graham Wilson will
lead a tour of his property, five years after a
managed timber harvest.
