The Scissor Sisters performed two back-to-back shows in Brighton, their first ever matinee performances. They sounded great and Jake Shears impressed the audience with his outrageous outfits during the first three songs. The photographer was only allowed to take pictures during the first three songs, but the full show had creative video and costume changes. The images aim to capture the onstage atmosphere of the beginning of the performance.

- 2. IMAGES OUT OF THE ORDINARY SCISSORS SISTERS DID SOMETHING THEY’VE NEVER DONE BEFORE WHEN THEY PLAYED THE BRIGHTON CENTRE - IT WAS THEIR FIRST EVER MATINEE. THEIR GIG EARLIER IN THE MONTH HAD BEEN POSTPONED AT THE LAST MINUTE DUE TO THE SNOW, SO THEY DID TWO BACK TO BACK SHOWS...AND BOY DO THEY PUT ON A PERFORMANCE! THEY SOUNDED GREAT AND JAKE SHEARS CERTAINLY WOWED THE BRIGHTON CROWD WITH HIS OUTRAGEOUS OUTFITS. THESE IMAGES AIM TO CAPTURE THE ONSTAGE ATMOSPHERE (OR AT LEAST WHAT HAPPENED DURING THE FIRST THREE SONGS!) UNFORTUNATELY, I WASN’T ALLOWED TO PHOTOGRAPH THE REST OF THE SHOW, WHICH WAS A SHAME AS THEY HAD A REALLY CREATIVE VIDEO BACKDROP, LOTS OF COSTUME CHANGES AND JAKE SHEARS PERFORMED IN THE MIDDLE OF THE AUDIENCE!
