The World Union of Jesuit Alumni (WUJA) was founded in Bilbao, Spain on the
31st of July of 1956 with the occasion of the IV Centenary of the death of Saint
Ignatius of Loyola. In that occasion it was elaborated the “Carta Magna” that was
approved later by the General of the Society of Jesus.
