The Navy has many Lean Six Sigma applications including NAVAIR, NAVSEA
and SPAWAR. The Navy has done many successfulprojects from improving
service operations on engine ships, to reducing the cycle time in administering
awards. The Navy significantly improved jet maintenance operations cycle time
from months to weeks.
The Department of Veteran’s Affairs is creating a better experience for
Veteran’s by applying Lean Six Sigma to various processes like reducing cycle
time in the Home Based Primary Care admission process to improving flow for
patient’s appointments and even the cafeteria flow during lunch hour.
King County and the entire state of Washington is incorporating Lean Six Sigma
applications at the city, county and state agencies across the state. Projects
