• Oracle Cloud at Customer is designed to
enable organizations to remove one of the
biggest obstacles to cloud adoption—data
privacy concerns related to where the data
is stored.
• While organizations are eager to move
their enterprise workloads to the public
cloud, many have been constrained by
business, legislative and regulatory
requirements that have prevented them
from being able to adopt the technology.
• These first-of-a-kind services provide
organizations with choice in where their
data and applications reside and a natural
path to easily move business critical
applications eventually to the public cloud.

5. Ebizoncloud - Oracle Cloud @ Customer project
Overview
• Oracle Cloud @ Customer project is a
subset of Customer Cloud enablement
program which enables Customer to
create a cloud platform based on Oracle
cloud Infrastructure.
• Under this project cloud platform will be
provisioned within Customer Data Centre
hence it is named as Oracle Cloud at
Customer (OCC).
• Oracle Cloud @ Customer is based on
converged Oracle hardware, software-
defined storage and networking and a
first-class IaaS abstraction. Oracle will be
fully managing and maintaining the
infrastructure at Customer premises
enabling Customer focus on using the
IaaS, PaaS and SaaS services.

7. Deployment and Integration
• Oracle Cloud @ Customer Consists of several important
components that together provide you with the Oracle
cloud experience in Customer Data Centre.
• The hardware required to run Oracle Cloud @ Customer,
which is installed and set up by Oracle Field Service
Engineers in Customer Data centre. This might include
one of more Cloud @Customer racks.
• The Oracle Cloud @ Customer Control Plane Software,
which consists of the software infrastructure required to
run Oracle cloud. The control plane is installed, configured
and managed by Oracle. It is modelled after and nearly
identical to the control plane software used to run Oracle
Cloud Software hosted in the Oracle Data Centres
throughout the world.
• The Oracle Advanced Support Gateway (OASG), which
includes the hardware and software required to securely
connect your Oracle Cloud at Customer environment to
the remote Oracle operations team. The remote
operations team manages the day to day operations of
oracle cloud at Customer, just as it manages Oracle cloud
hosted in Oracle data centres.
• The Oracle Cloud Services to which subscriptions has
been availed. This can include many of the infrastructure
as a service (PaaS) services, such as Oracle Compute
Cloud Service, and Platform as a Service (PaaS) offerings,
such as Oracle Java Cloud Service and Oracle Database
Cloud Service.

• Integrate the oracle cloud @ Customer with existing Customer Shared services and eco
systems. Like DNS, NTP, Backup, Logging and Monitoring etc.
• control and manage software that directly affects their application – Database, OS,
Clusterware.
• Oracle manages underlying infrastructure – Facilities, servers, storage, storage software,
networking, firmware, hypervisor, etc.
• we administrate compute VMs and databases so they can configure and run the system as
they like
• Customers initiate automated database update script when it is convenient for them
• Can be run rolling across nodes to avoid database downtime.
