Work 50a , “ State Budget ” 1)   Based on the video clip, what problems are we having with the state budget? 2)  Appoint a facilitator whose job is to get everyone to participate,  write his/her name . 3)  Write which changes you think should be made to  CA revenue  and  CA spending . 4)  On the same issue, make sacrifices to reach  close consensus  ( 3/4, 75%  agreement),  write  down the  compromise  solution. Consensus : means voting yes if you can  live with  the compromise, and are willing to  back it .  5)  List which  special interest groups  you  upset . Issue to Resolve:  FIX OUR BUDGET CRISIS!
