2. Sweg Messenger
Sweg is a messenger app, where friends can communicate with each other, in a
slang language, Called SWEG. The more Fluent you are in the language, the
more reputation you will receive within the app.
The target audience we have aimed for is teenagers because it has a fun
element to it, but also a private feel to it as no parent or older person will be
able to understand it. According to a app expert, privacy from parents is a trend
at the moment.
3. Problem
This app isn't a solution to any problem. It is mainly for fun. Problems can occur
within the app though, for example new people to the app, may not fully
understand words. The app could be seen as offensive to people with dyslexia and
other reading/writing difficulties.
4. Core question
How can you message all of your friends, in slang,
without looking like an complete idiot?
5. Key Statement
With this app, not only do you message in slang for
quickness and easiness, you also use it for reputation points
to try and win leaderships on the daily leadership boards.
6. Mini Elevator Pitch
My team, EED, is developing a mobile app
to help Teenagers Message Friends in a fun new and different
language with entertainment and privacy.
7. User Profile
Our target audience is like Michael, a 17 year old college student who finds it boring to
just message people with a normal messenger. With sweg, Michael will be able to talk
in sweg with his friends. Not only will he still be messaging people, he will also be
having fun whilst doing so.
8. Competitive apps
On the store and android market, there is many messenger apps. Like KIK,
BBM and WhatsAPP.
The difference between these apps and sweg is this messenger is purely for
fun and amusement. Using created slang words and creating your own smileys
to be whatever you. Most things within this is app can be effected by you. You
can submit new words and create new smileys for people to see and use.
9. App Features
Within this app, not only can you text in this slang language, you can create and translate
your own words. Create your own smiley. With the smileys you can save them and use
them. You can also publish and let them be downloaded by other people.
As your reputation continues, if you earn the most sweg points in one day, if you are one
of the top 3 of the day, you can be added onto the “sweg of the day page” where the
accounts with the most earned rep is shown. There is also tutorials where you can learn
the basics of sweg.
10. Flow of the application:

to move between pages and
simple to use, it’s very simplistic in
that area.
User Feedback:
The vast majority of the feedback
was quite similar, people didn’t
understand the concept of the
application. However when
people had time with the app they
begun to understand the idea.
13. Feasibility:
The way this application works is
the actual download is free, either
off the App Store and Android.
When you have downloaded the
app you will then create an
account on Sweg. Then you will
have to buy the membership to
the application after you months
free trail.
Data, content, and technical:
The data inside the
programme is mainly aspects
of Sweg of the day, all the
score system and etc. Content
is mainly every users profile
and there personal
information. Technical would
mean the application needs a
technician to help maintain
the app.
