High School Kids are trying to earn college scholarships and in order to do so they will take performance enhancers to improve there athleticism. 2 out of 10 high school athletes have been admitted to using steroids or other performance enhancers. Coaches and parents are starting to support the use of performance enhancers for kids success. It makes for a uneven playing field.

6. College 85 of 105 positive tests for college athletes were due to the use of steroids. Testing is random and not throughout a whole team. College athletes are being pressured to be successful and make there college career into a pro career so taking performance enhancers is a great way in doing so. Also makes for an uneven playing field.

7. Professional There needs to be a mandatory testing throughout a team instead of random. Punishment needs to be more severe if athlete is tested positive for a performance enhancer. It can be career changing when a player is taking performance enhancer helping there performance and making more money. Its cheating!

8. Using = Cheating Society cares because steroid use is a form of cheating. Since steroids work so well, they create an unfair advantage for those who take them, and this breaks the social contract athletes have implicitly agreed to: We are going to have a fair contest. There are things we can and cannot do. Even if there were a safe performance-enhancing substance, if it weren't available to everybody, using it would still be cheating.

9. Conclusion I believe that the best way to have an even playing field and for all athletes is to have testing throughout year. We need this to ensure the health and wellness of all the athletes.
