6. iPhone Booking Zipcar introduced the iPhone app for ease in booking. Simply click the app icon and based on your location, cars available in the vicinity are indicated by green flags on a map. Pick the spot closest to you and book right where you are standing. Your phone allows you to honk the car’s horn to easily locate where it is parked and even unlock the doors. NOLA Car Share will make this feature available to all of its members.
7. Vehicles are distributed throughout the service area, often located for access by public transport, business districts and highly populated neighborhoods. 13. More and more people between the age of 25 and 35 are moving to New Orleans. It is a choice prompted by a change in lifestyle, not career. Many come from larger urban areas where car ownership was not a feasible option, but car sharing is available. They are eco-conscious and ready to make a difference
