14. In a room with the marketing guy, the finance guy, the operations guy, and all the other guys, the information guy has a place. At the very least, she can add an information perspective to the other perspectives in the room. At the very most, she can use information to lead her team, her department and her whole organization. With a well-coordinated team of information guys behind her she can be the most effective guy in the room.
