The NSW Alumni group participated in a Sri Lankan Food
Fair, organized by the ASF under the “Assist Rebuild Sri
Lanka” program, held at the Roselea Community Centre in
September 2009. It was well attended and a sum of about
$ 11,700.00 was collected from the Fair. This money is to
be released in stages for building of a community centre for
disabled soldiers through the Ranaviru Sevana Authority, a
semi government organization. Alumni also supported a
fund raising project for assisting the IDPs in northern part of
Sri Lanka under the “Lifeline to North” program.
