9. After peaceful protests fail, it is sometimes necessary to resort to violence. (You must try every possible ways to succeed the apartheid) It is better to create an army under one commander so that the inevitable violence is controlled.

11. ANC's role in ending apartheid was significant. ANC held protests, boycotts, strikes (people not going to work), violent resistences (sabotages, guerrilla wars, etc), negotiations, etc. ANC tried and organized almost every possible ways to end apartheid.

12. At first ANC tried to resist apartheid in peaceful ways such as boycotts, protests, strikes, etc, but the government didn't reform; therefore ANC moved onto using violent methods. However, ANC was banned for their violent movements.

15. Nelson Mandela being a model, fighting and resisting agaisnst apartheid even in prison and refusing to be let out of prison for ANC's surrender helped encourage rebels and the ANC.
