  25. 25. Security Policy Infrastructure Connectivity Prithvi utilizes state of the art technology. Our core Hardware devices are from HP, Cisco, WatchGuard and DLink. Our Technology has built in redundancy at various stages to provide maximum stability. Our Servers are supported by a dedicated UPS (Merlin Gerin) system and our desktops and critical light and power-points are supported by a separate UPS system. We are further supported by a massive generator backup. Redundancy is taken care off with multiple leased lines running from STPI and HCL into Prithvi’s premises. The link termination devices can handle both load balancing and fault tolerance with regard to leased circuits, thus providing performance and redundancy Security is not merely a product, which could be achieved by implementing various security systems, tools & policies – but can be through a process.
