in 1972 and a Masters in Economics from the University of Warsaw, Poland,
in1986. He also obtained post-graduate diplomas in French from Universite de

Portugal, in 1977. Amb. Oramah’s solid intellectual reputation and sound
character were recognized early by the Federal Government of Nigeria when he
was employed in the prestigious Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where he served his
fatherland creditably from 1972 to 1988. As a result of his service in the Foreign
Ministry, he is widely travelled, having served in the Republics of Benin and the
Congo, the United States of America (as Consul of Nigeria, Consulate General of
Nigeria, Atlanta, Georgia), Poland and Hungary.
