- 1. Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival By Christopher Argento
- 2. A Brief History Coachella is a 3 day music festival that takes place in Indio, California every April. The event takes place 2 hours east of Los Angeles in the middle of the desert. You camp on-site from Thursday-Monday. The festival features many genres of music including alternative rock, hip hop, and electronic music as well as large sculptural art.

- 12. Wednesday Check your camping list. Double check the list. Pack your car. Enjoy your last good shower and other luxuries. Drink lots of water. Get plenty of rest because you will not get much the next 5 days.
- 13. Thursday Triple check your list! Meet with your group before sunrise Start the 9 hour trip to Indio It only took us around 7 hours Tip: Staying up all night before means you sleep the whole ride to the festival
- 16. Friday It is finally time to enter the festival! Have a good meal. Be prepared to wait in line to get in. You don’t want to miss an act because you were late getting in. Plan your day out before entering. Navigating the crowds will be easier. Enjoy! Deadmau5 >>>

- 18. Saturday Take a shower If the lines are too long use baby wipes. They work great! Plan your day while eating breakfast. Apply sunscreen before going in. Enjoy Saturday with 75,000 new friends.
- 19. Team with a half mile of purple balloons with blue lights on the bottom.
- 20. Sunday Sadly this will be your last day at Coachella. Skip the shower and enjoy the time with friends at camp. Before heading in start packing up everything except the tent. This will make leaving easier.
- 21. This was the view trying to get back into the campgrounds Sunday night.
- 22. Sunday Night/Monday Morning The festival may be over but there is still fun to be had. Nobody wants the weekend to end so feel free to party all night and make new friends. It doesn’t matter if you go to bed at midnight or at 5am. You will still be tired in the morning.
- 23. Monday Make sure everything is back in the car. Exchange info with the people you camped with or made friends with. Take 1 big group photo! Enjoy the ride out of Indio. It’ll be a year before you can go back. Enjoy the ride home! Return to humanity and the real world.
