Introduction to Bachelor of Science in Statistics
Statistics is an outcome of Mathematics hence an aptitude in Mathematics  and a strong understanding of it application in the modern day world is necessary.  Statistics is the science of the collection, organization, and interpretation of data including the planning of data collection in terms of the design of surveys and experiments. Statistics is a very specialized area of Maths and covers subjects like Probability & Distribution, Applied Statistics, Operation Research,  Accounting  and Programming. As a statistician you look at the successful application of statistical analysis. They look at extracting information from data about a specific setting and need to be interpreted in that setting.
