Introduction

the external nose anteriorly to
the nasopharynx posteriorly.
The frontal, ethmoid, sphenoid
and maxillary sinuses form the
paired paranasal sinuses.
They are situated around and
drain into the nasal cavity.
The entire complex is lined by
mucus secreting epithelium.
