Good Stuff Happens in 1:1 Meetings: Why you need them and how to do them well
Hanah Eltaher: Evaulation:Question 7
1. Hanah Eltaher: Evaluation Question7 Looking
back at your preliminary task, what do you
feel you have learnt in the progression from it
to the full product?
2. Preliminary Task: Camera and Editing
We also used a variety of close ups
on the characters, we' mainly used
close ups of the legs and feet and
used the editing technique match
on action to enhance the continuity.
Also you could see the clear cut the
match on action especially when the
main character was opening the
door at the first scene
As the character opens the door you can
see the jump from inside to outside of the
room, this is a form of continuity
editing, making a continuous flow.
3. Preliminary Task: Sound
• In terms of the sounds we used in our
preliminary task, the setting we filmed
muffled the sound, as we also weren't able to
control the ambient noise in the background.
• However used FreeSound and iMovie we were
able to edit the sounds together and blur out
any other interfering sounds, by either putting
the track over it or just removing the sound.
4. Preliminary Task: Planning and time
management
• In our preliminary task, our time management
skills were lacking immensely, we did not plan the
sequence, there was no story board preparation
and this really affected our outcome.
• However in the final product I was able to keep
track of time, and we thoroughly planned the
storyline and the story board. Our team work also
helped make things run more smoothly.
