impact over the next five years? Look at people’s
hobbies today.
They’re great indicators for what will go viral in the
future.
Tip:
Review your
audience’s
interests in
Google
Analytics.
Make ‘em laugh.
Humor helps people connect, so inject some hilarity into
your content, wherever possible.
Tip:
Include some
pop culture
references.
Break the monotony of work.
Most people consume and share content while at work.
(Speaking of that, here comes your boss! Just kidding.)
Tip:
Share your
content during
office hours.
Make it fun.
People are like giant toddlers. They need to be
constantly entertained.
Tip:
Experiment
with lists,
quizzes,
videos and
challenges.
Make it practical.
Content should be something people use in their daily
lives.
It should ideally solve their problems, from improving
conversion optimization rates to learning how to
breakdance.
Tip:
Interview your
audience to
find out their
pain points.
Look at their conversations.
What do people say when they share your content?
That’ll help you understand what is meaningful in their
lives.

Use social
listening tools
to listen to
your
audience.
Go to them.
Distribute your content where your audiences are.

your website.)

Referrals in Google
Analytics.
Make them hungry for more.

So, experiment with food-related topics in your content.

product or service

understand.
Measure your success.
Never settle for mediocrity.
Define ‘success’ for your content.
Check if your content is ‘successful’. If not, tweak it on
a regular basis.
