Journalism Day will be held on September 8, 2012 at the University of Hawaii at Manoa Campus Center from 8:30 am to 3 pm. The event will feature morning sessions on writing news, features, sports, opinions, blogging, video journalism and a deadline write off with press conferences. Afternoon sessions will cover layout, photography, online trends, and how to land jobs and internships. There will also be competitions for best press conference live stream and most dynamic multi-media content. The cost is $12 per student which includes lunch. Registration is due by August 31.
