When you have a range of tools to choose from you need to understand which tool will work best for the job at hand, and often it is not one tool, but several tools which are required for the job.” Citrix has been in the virtualisation game for many years and, according to Poyner, holds the market lead, however the use case and dramatically improves the end result. both IBM and Microsoft are currently in launch mode with And it is often the case that a single flavour of desktop their own desktop virtualisation solutions. virtualisation will not fit your entire user base; perhaps a These three leading solutions are discussed below: mix of XenApp, XenDesktop and some traditional fat client desktops will suit.
