1. What have you learnt about
technologies from the process of
constructing this product?
By Hayleigh Chamberlain
2. Photoshop
I have used Photoshop beforehand and found it a lot more easier with AS coursework as I
was used to it.
I gained more skills from cutting around my main image and being able to change the
lighting and contrast of my image made it a lot better for my magazine pictures.
Here is myself print
screening my final front
cover image using
Photoshop.
3. Quark Xpress
Quark Xpress was a lot more difficult for me to work as it was brand new and just an
editing process.
For my double page spread and contents page I think I finally got used to this programme
and can officially use the different tools properly.
Here is a screenshot
when I was editing the
colour balance levels for
one of my subsidiary
images.
4. Voice Recorders and SLR camera
The voice recorder and the SLR camera were very easy to use and just common
sense.
The voice recorder was simple and easy to get onto your blog. Here is a recording
for my questionnaire I did using a voice recorder:

questionnaire.html
The SLR camera’s I found extremely useful and great quality for the work we were
producing. Here are different shot types I did using an SLR:

5. Blog sites
Using sites like Prezi, Slideshare, Glogster and Sliderocket were a great way of putting
all my research on to my blog quickly and clearly.
I found Prezi hard at first, then I got used to it. Slideshare and Sliderocket are very simple
and Glogster also.
