From Our Scout Executive:
We are doing our best to limit the spread of COVID-19. To that end, effective Monday, March 23rd, be
aware that within the Occoneechee Council the following policy is in effect until April 30, 2020:
• No face to face meetings in the Occoneechee Council through April 30th
• All in-person Scouting activities are canceled effective immediately through April 30th.
• All in-person council-level and district-level events and meetings are canceled through April 30th.
• There are no exceptions to this rule. The Council Service Center and both the Raleigh and
Fayetteville Scout Shops are closed through April 30th. Our staff will be working remotely and
responding to all calls, emails and postal mail.
• All Council Camps are closed through April 30th.
• Please continue to work with your Scouts via digital and electronic methods.

BSA Fees
• Occoneechee Council fees
– $48 per youth on 1 August 2020
Based on your recharter numbers
• Recharter fees for 2021
– $60 per unit recharter fee
– $120 per youth
– $48 per adult

Merit Badge Counselors
• You have skills that our Scouts want to learn!
• Become a Merit Badge Counselor
• Merit Badge Councilors must renew each year in
April.
• If you do not renew, you will be dropped on
May 1st.

2020 Camp Cards
• Extended! 15 August – Camp Card sale ends.
• The Camp Card commission will be 50% if the unit is
paid in full by August 15th. Commission drops to 30%
after that. Units do not have to pay for ANY cards up
front.
