£60,000-£80,000

Liquidity risk analyst vacancy with a tier 1 investment bank based in London with a focus
on LCR / NSFR.

OPPORTUNITY
About the Client
My client is an international specialist banking and asset management group. It provides a range of financial products and services to a
client base in three principal markets globally, focusing on Investment Banking, Corporate & Institutional Banking and Wealth
Management.
Operating out of key locations across Europe, my client employs 50,000 people worldwide, and has developed a well-known and
effective brand since it’s inception.
About the role
An opportunity has arisen within the firm to work across the liquidity risk management division with a specific emphasis on LCR /
NSFR. The candidate selected will be expected to manage this process and be familiar with EU banking regulation, specifically Basel III.
Specific responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to;
•Aid the creation of the management framework around Basel III Liquidity Risk
•Refine and manage Liquidity Risk appetite
•Ongoing challenge and review of calibration and technical implementation of the regime
•Monitoring of position Vs risk appetite.
•Day to day management and ongoing execution of mitigating actions from a Treasury perspective (both unsecured and secured)
•Working with the Investment bank to drive appropriate mitigation strategies.
•Regular interaction with regulators, both technical and position driven

ROLE PROFILE
Candidates interested in this opportunity will be able to demonstrate all or most of the following;
Technical knowledge
•Treasury experience
•Sound understanding of the Basel Liquidity Regime
•Sound understanding of the existing UK Liquidity rules / environment
•Sound understanding / experience in Liquidity Risk Management
Skills and how they are applied
•Strong execution skills, ability to work in a fast and busy environment
•Must have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels with a methodical approach to
work and the ability to anticipate situations.
•Proactive, self starter.
•Promotes and demonstrates a positive attitude
•Shows commitment to the firm
•Professional demeanour at all times
•Must display confidence and be able to remain calm under pressure
