Vietnam’s retail store landscape is rapidly
changing, with the big rise and of modern trade
stores, and the aggressive M&A from the giant
groups
This report was made to summarize the trend by
product category, by knowing the store numbers
of the major players.
The report was made in April 2019.
• The store numbers in the report are based on the desktop research.
• Some new stores are added in 2019. In those cases, we did not include
those stores in 2017/ 2018/ 2019 comparison.
• 2017 data is as of Feb., 2018 data is as of April.
