In 25+ years with IBM, Bill Holtshouser has had roles in HW/SW development, product marketing/mgmt. and strategy. He built design automation tools used by IBM mainframe chip designers and later led product teams for IBM's consumer PCs and the IBM ThinkPad. Bill spent many years in e-commerce, directing the strategy and PLM team for IBM's e-commerce products, and drove acquisitions that led to IBM’s "Smarter Commerce" portfolio. In 2013 Bill moved to IBM Rational, leading the PLM team for Mobile / Cloud offerings; in his latest role he drives Rational’s strategy for Mobile, Cloud, DevOps and Analytics. Bill holds a BS in Comp Sci from Syracuse University and an MBA from Duke Univ
