I have been lucky enough to be involved in Hypertext and Web research for over fifteen years, firstly in the area of Open, Adaptive and Contextual hypermedia and more recently in the areas of Social Media, Linked Data, UX Design, Narrative Systems, and the emerging discipline of Web Science, particularly the impact of Digital Literacy on education and learning. I am interested in the ways that people use information systems in-the-wild, and how we can use emergent social, organisational and semantic structures to help them make sense of their world.
