Measuring the Maelstrom -- Assessment and Collection Development Presentation for IACRL 2014 Pre-Conference on Assessment by members of the CARLI Commercial Products Committee. The presenter's decided to try solicit ideas and generate a discussion on how to move beyond use statistics toward effectiveness of collections in fostering student learning and success. Essentially trying to answer the "so what" question in terms of assessing use of databases, ejournals, and other electronic resources.
