Current rankings
Competitor rankings
Advertising campaigns
Google Analytics
Look for keywords and check rankings
5. Tips for Keywords
Look for low hanging fruit – Page 2 rankings are
much easier to get to Page 1 than starting from
scratch
When searching local keywords, use larger cities
to find popular constructs (e.g., [city name]
[service] or [service] [city name])
Always check the relevance. Are the people
searching on the keyword looking for the
product? If not, don’t waste your time.
