This document summarizes a research study on consumer perception of facilities management among middle-income groups in India. The study analyzed factors like acceptance of independent FM providers, awareness of FM services, current services, criteria for choosing providers, locating providers, speed of service, maintenance costs, quality of services, and reliability. A survey was conducted with 200 respondents in South India. Statistical analysis found 61.5% had awareness of FM while 38.5% were unaware. Determinants like acceptance, awareness, current services, selection criteria, locating providers, speed, costs, quality, and reliability were statistically significant. Higher income was positively related to FM awareness.
