Some such thoughts about success are given below.) 1. Success is victory, triumph, winning. 2. Success is the achievement of one’s goals and objectives. 3. It is the accomplishment of the tasks and targets that one sets. INTENT (The objective of the facilitation process is to help each participant explore the topic for himself, individually and independently. Following are some of the objectives of the session.) 1. To understand what is success 2. To understand what is failure 3. To analyse what determines success 4. To explore whether one’s success impacts oneself, people, nature and environment, things or situations 5. To explore whether success is own or any external factors contributes to one’s success 6. To analyse how one responds to success , how one responds to failure 7. To explore how others respond to one’s success, how others responds to one’s failure 8. To explore whether it is possible to succeed even after failure 9. To explore how one manages one’s success and failure QUESTIONS (These are some leading questions that the facilitator may contemplate on for understanding and connecting with the topic.) 1. What does success mean? 2. Does success mean the same to everyone? Why? 3. Is it necessary to succeed? If yes, what can enable one to succeed? 4. Does anyone else play a part in one’s success? If so, in what manner? 5. Does one's success have any effect on the society? If so how? 6. How does one behave when one succeeds and how does one manages when he fails? 7. Does one get emotionally affected by success or failure? If yes, how?

A conundrum in L2 writing classes is how to make classroom writing assignments more meaningful and extend the readership of such assignments beyond that of instructors while also expanding the range and depth to which learners write. This presentation discusses how these disparate issues may be resolved by contextualizing simple writing assignments that allow learners maximized play of imagination and expression and that can extend what I call expository reach - the breakthrough to levels of writing that may go beyond where learners had previously written. Adding further to such a dynamic is the role blogs may play in widening such writing assignments into publishable projects. Such incentives for publication may motivate learner writers towards expository reach while creating a community of readership both of learners' peers and near-peers.

Blogs have widened vistas in English L2 writing pedagogy for teachers and learners alike given their contextualizing and publishing capabilities. Such blog capabilities are often most fully realized through music video uploads, reproductions of art, and photography, and blog activities with such content may be ideal for learner writing. Indeed, while a body of literature exists for use of music in TEFL in terms of songs for listening or macro-skills classes, little has been written on the use of music or imagery in L2 writing pedagogy, making blog-based content with such material a potentially new and unexplored area for L2 writing research. This slide show is a continuation of the theme of an earlier presentation on the use of music as a platform for learner writing, and here I shall review how instrumental music, and examine how photographic images, may be used as bases for learner creative writing for contextualization and publication on blogs. It is my continued belief that such contextualizing and publishing L2 learner writing engages and motivates learners, and brings about a sense of class cohesion and community.

Abdulaziz Alazemi Mr:Mark Thea1030-009 April, 27, 2014 Out-door Show On April, 26,2014, I went with Hussan ALmeels to Outdoor show. It was about; I think it is a cultural music. I saw yesterday many people dance in front of the music group. All of them were young. I think they were dancing cultural dance. I think it is cowboy dance. The show was at campus. I went there at 8:00pm, and it were done on 9:20. There were many people were setting on the grass, and watch them sons. It was at night. The weather was clear, and warm. I liked the music, but Hussan actually didn’t like it at all. In the show the parent were setting on the grass, and them sons were dancing. None of the parents were dancing. They were just watching the show. There were probably 90 people there. Before I went to the show I though it was a play. Like out-door play, but I surprised when I saw them singing. There were some songs that I like it, and there were some songs I didn’t like it at all. Actually, we set on the grass, and saw the show. It was really nice and new experience to Hussan and me. I took some picture for the show, and sent it to my parent in Kuwait, and they were surprised. They asked me what is that Aziz? I told them this is outdoor show, it is an event that the people of Cookeville do it from time to another time. They told me how much is the ticket cost. I told them it is free for all. They say wow we should visit you and see this show together. I also put some picture on Instagram (it is a program in I-phone) the people were surprised like they asked me were is that? I told them it is in Tennessee at TTU University. In my opinion that was a good experience to me, and new thing to me because I didn’t go to these event at my whole life. Actually I done know if there an event like that in Kuwait or not. In the end, I like it, and I would like to go to it again if there is one more. Hi P,Mark I went to performing arts center on Jan, 28,14. That was my first time that I attend a play in my life! It was a good experience. There was 6 women acting about a mother that bring a clothes for her daughter, and the girl didn’t like her clothes because she think it is an old style. The play was at 7:30pm and it ran to 9:30pm. The name of the play was LOVE, LOSS and WHAT I WORE. In my opinion, the play was good, and I liked it. Abdulaziz Alazemi Huseen Almeeles Mr:Mark Thea1030-009 Less Miserables At March, 28,14 my friends and I went to Less Miserables play. The play was located in high school backdoor. It was an old play, but I didn’t understand it very well. The play had many songs in it, but also it was a good idea to mix a play with a songs. The attendance were young and old people which made the play very excited. The actors were preparing for more then four months until they were ready to do it for the attendance. I saw at the back top in the theater a small room that controls all the lights. The play was telling a story about poor people and the.

Inspiration and learning from GEAR has led PAF-KIET students to generate employment (in most projects) or solve one of the most critical problem for poor from the society. In the beginning, the support from GEAR enabled around 30 students to help 6 families to stand on their feet. This beginning was a trigger point of a chain reaction which spurred in the semesters which followed. The push which GEAR provided, is still sustainable, just like it's on-ground-activities, Alhamdolillah. Till now 53 families have been helped, by the grace of Allah SWT, with an amount of Rs. 630,000/- (approx), during the course of 4 semester. Most of these projects are related with generation of source of self-employment for the needy. The entire experience is transforming the lives of not only poor families but also changing the mindset of the students as they realize their the true problems faced by the poverty struck population. Furthermore they realizes that being among the economically stable ones what responsibilities toward society they hold and value of the psychological rewards which are reaped in the process of creating solutions of the social ills, is also realized. The success so far has sparked the management to involve all departments in the process of involving students to solve the problems of the society. In the forth coming semester this project will be done by other departments as well, subsequently increasing the quantum of impact by many time
