Gothenburg is found in the heart of Scandinavia, easily accessible from around the world. Actually, only two hours from London, Paris and Vienna.
Today, there are around 70 non-stop direct connections from more than 50 European destinations.
Low cost carriers are serving more than 25 of the destinations. E.g. London, Paris, Rome and Frankfurt.
One-stop flights easily connect intercontinental travellers to Gothenburg; from world wide destinations via short connections in European cities.
The transfer from the airport to the city, hotels and the congress centre is only 20 min.
The city is continuously working to increase the number of direct flight destinations.
Organising and attending a congress is about to get easier. As official airline for the congress the SAS Scandinavian Airlines offers special airfares and a dedicated booking engine through the Star Alliance service Conventions Plus.

This is a view of the city of Gothenburg. You see the two airports and the archipelago in the horizon
The ICSE venue is right in the city centre only 17 min from the main airport and withing walking distance from the many hotels, museums and restaurants. Delegates arriving at GOT are amazed to reach the congress venue on less than 40 min after landing.
7,000 hotel rooms are located in the very city centre. These span from five-star to several budget alternatives; i.e. bed & breakfast, cabins, apartments, hostels and university dormitories. Accommodation in different categories has already been preliminary booked for the conference. In total 1200 rooms, of these 700 are at the ISCE main venue (Gothia Towers).
