The Phasmid Study Group is an organization formed in 1980 by 10 members that studies stick and leaf insects. It has grown significantly since then and in 1992 started publishing the journal Phasmid Studies. The group brings together both amateur and professional entomologists and has publications, a species list, meetings, a website, and ongoing projects focused on stick and leaf insects.
