2. 1. How learning from this experience can support other initiatives (methodology transferability )? Which spaces/opportunities for cross-fertilization ?
3. 2. How to improve linkages with other investment projects ? and/or which way forward for scaling-up ?
4. 3. How these experiences contribute to long term NUS use/conservation and pro-poor initiatives ( sustainability )?
6. 1. Research on cultural aspects as good practice and necessary condition to production and commercialisation 2. Clear analysis of the reasons why the product is no longer used (Program strategy and methodologies) 3. As a first step, intervene with measures which add values to the products on a local scale and immediately satisfy a demand/need. The initial demand should be stimulated by actions which have a cultural dimension. 4. Disaggregate demand in many segments and find the one with greatest potential for the immediate and ability to be satisfied with the offer. 5. Promotion of NUS and smallholder agriculture values in the North.
