Introduction
Starting with IBM Mainframe and distributed systems I was focusing on the software design and
architecture, and joined Andersen Consulting as senior consultant technologist. A few years later I joined
IBM permanently where I become experienced in architecture, design and development in the
WebSphere space while working with IBM and partners for many years extensively using UML with
Rational modelling software and unified process methodology.
Early Java promoter I was involved in many Open Source implementation projects as hands-on architect,
leading the teams and managing the delivery.
Later, as an independent consultant I delivered projects using various integration technologies of other
vendors such as Oracle Fusion and SAP.
Now, Principal Consultant in Software AG South Africa I am responsible for webMethods solutions
architecture and delivery, including infrastructure and service platform design. I am certified in all ARIS
disciplines such as enterprise architecture, business processes and strategy.
