E-BALL PC CONCEPT
E-ball PC
designed by Apostol Tnokovski
WHAT IS E-BALL PC?
 The e-ball is a sphere shaped computer
concept which is the smallest design
among all the laptops and desktops have
ever made.
 This ball predicts the future of computing.
 You might have seen many things like this
but the unique feature of this ball is that
when it is closed, no one can guess that
whole computer is hidden inside this ball.
Features of e-ball
 This concept features all the traditional
elements like
 Dual core processor
 2-GB RAM
 Integrated graphic card and sound card
 2*50 W speaker
 HD-DVD Recorder
Continue….
 Wireless optical mouse
 Laser keyboard
 Modem
 Webcam
 Integrated LCD projector
Opening the stands and Detaching the
optical mouse
 E-Ball is designed to be placed on two
stands, opens by simultaneously pressing
and holding the two buttons located on
each side.
 After opening the stand and turning ON
the PC, pressing the detaching mouse
button will allow you to detach the optical
mouse from the PC body.
Continue….
Display
 There’s no external display unit, a
projector will pop up by pressing and
holding the button and focus the computer
screen on the wall.
 Focus on the wall can be adjusted
with navigation buttons.
 In case there is no wall around, it supports
a paper holder.
ACTIVATING PAPER HOLDER
 The paper sheet holder
is on the back of the
PC.
 This can be opened by
pressing it in the lower
part.
 As it pops up it goes
divided into three parts.
ACTIVATING LASER KEYBOARD
 By pressing and
holding the ON/OFF
button for 5 seconds
the projector pops up.
 The Laser Keyboard
can be activated by
pressing the keyboard
activation button
VIEWS OF E-BALL
FUTURE OF E-BALL PC CONCEPT
 In Tnokovski’s opinion, this is the best
shape in nature and it draws everybody’s
attention.
 For the moment, there is no word on
pricing or when it’s going to be available.
 But upon release, it will surely hit the
markets as everyone would like to see a
small spherical PC like this one.
SPACE MOUSE
by
Magellan
INTRODUCTION
 To take a close look at
something in the real world,
you pick it up and examine it
from every angle
 Space Mouse is a professional
3D controller specifically
designed for manipulating
objects in a 3D environment.
 permits the simultaneous
control of all six degrees of
freedom
Continue….
 serves as an intuitive man-machine
interface.
 With the space mouse, you can intuitively
zoom, pan and rotate models, exploring
and navigating your designs as naturally
as if they were objects in the world.
Working of space mouse
 Space with it’s V- shaped cap
naturally supports the zoom
features. It’s 11 buttons puts the
most used functions right at
your fingertips.
 Place your fingers gently on the
controller’s cap.
 Orient your model on the
screen by simply twisting in any
direction to rotate it around the
X,Y,Z axis. you will quickly be
able to combine all movements.
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION
 Weight:720grms
 Size: L X W X H : 188 X 120 X 44 mm
 Standard mode: 3D interface
 Internal resolution: 8bit
 Interface: RS232
 Translation mode: coordinates X,Y,Z are
reported.
FEATURES
 Calibration free sensor technology for high
precision and unique reliability.
 Settings to adjust sensitivity and motion control
to the users preference.
 Any computer whose graphics power allows to
update at least 5 frames per second of the
designed scenery, and which has a standard
RS232 interface, can make use of the full
potential of Magellan space mouse.
 drawing times is reduced by 20%-30%
increasing overall productivity.
 going back and forth to the menu is
eliminated.
 small form factor frees up the desk space.
 natural hand position (resting on table)
eliminates fatigue.
ADVANTAGES
DRAWBACKS
 Too expensive (nearly $8000 earlier now
reduced to about $3000 eventhough
manufacturing cost is less than $1000)
 Works only if RS232 interface is provided.
