2. Panasonic GD52
1997
My very first phone. After stealing my
dads phone for years I finally got my own.
I could text my friends - except those who
only had a beeper (you know that thing
you could call, but only got their number
to call them back on a pay phone.
Really??)
3. Nokia 8210
2000
I loved, loved, loved this phone -
and I had it for years! Great
design and so durable. You
could open beer bottles with this
one.
4. Samsung D500
2003
Liked it. It came with a plug-in
speaker that I never used. And it
had a 1.3 MB pixel camera.
5. Nokia 3200
2004
I think it was the worst phone I ever had.
Became obsolete so quickly. I only bought
it because I was going to the US and
needed a cheap phone that worked over
there.
6. Motorola Razr V3
2006
Hype. Pink. It had 2 screens.
Got it cheaply at Carphone
Warehouse. Did not use it much
and it broke quickly.
7. HTC/O2 XDA Exec
2006
Not very user friendly. You had to
pick up the pen to be able to
answer the phone. First windows
phone I had. And first proper
browsing and email experience.
9. Nokia 6221 Classic
2007
Ok phone. Nice design. Hated
the OS. Internet experience not
too great. After the blackberry
this was a disapointment. It just
felt old.
11. HTC Desire HC
2011
This is my current phone. I like
it. It has android. Battery life is
poor. It’s not pretty and I’m not
feeling the love that I felt for my
iPhone, but then again, I am not
spending any money on apps
and thankful that I do not have
to use iTunes anymore. And
after I got rid of HTC Sense
(using another launcher), life is
ok.
