A One-day International symposium on theme "Global Business – Challenges and Leadership" was held on January 4, 2013 at our campus. Prof. Avvari V Mohan, Associate Professor of Strategic Management and Director of MBA & MSc Programmes, Nottingham University Business School, Malaysia; Mr. Vinay Kumar, Vice President, Polaris Ltd. Hyderabad; and, Mr. Ramesh Venkateswaran, Chairman, Custommerce Service Excellence Foundation and Former Director, SDMIMD and Mr. C. Balagopal, MD, Terumo Penpol, India, delivered the invited talks. Mr DeepuChandran, Director & Dr.Murthy Halemane, Senior Advisor from Innomantra Consulting Pvt. Ltd. Bangalore, gave an introductory workshop on ‘Entrepreneurial Innovation.’ The Management Games organized by SDMIMD students for Texas A&M students and the audience gave a final touch to the theme of the symposium
