8. Street Lighting
The Department for Infrastructure is responsible for
285,000 street lights in Northern Ireland.

Use of technology to give users and importantly
potential users easier access to travel options
Development of Apps that interactively provide users of
• trains
• buses
• taxis
• ecars
and
• cyclists
• pedestrians
with early warnings of issues on their journeys and
provide alternative transport solutions
These ‘Apps' could also highlight comparative costs and
benefits of travelling 'off peak’ or using alternative
providers or modes
