and hygiene services for life

2. With this toolkit, we’re bringing together the tools and
guidance developed and tested in IRC’s work with
governments, NGOs and other partners in over 20
countries.
The tools come from big, multi-country initiatives, such
as WASHCost, Triple-S and WASHTech, as well as more
focused pieces of work, such as our partnership with
the government of Ethiopia to develop guidelines for
self-supply.

from financing to asset

The change section focuses on
how to create large-scale
change in a complex system—
motivating diverse actors to

delivery a reality.

4. The toolkit covers both water supply and sanitation—
many tools apply to both.
Sanitation and hygiene-specific tools have been
grouped under the sanitation and behaviour change
blocks.

Most require some degree of adaptation.
IRC is available to support this process through our
consulting arm — IRC Consult.
