This document describes a smart helmet system for motorcycles that aims to improve safety. The system has two main parts - a helmet unit and a bike unit that communicate wirelessly. The helmet unit checks if the helmet is being worn properly and tests the rider's breath for alcohol using sensors. It transmits this data to the bike unit using an RF module. The bike unit receives the data and only allows the engine to start if both safety conditions are met. Additionally, if an accident is detected by the accelerometer sensor, it can automatically alert emergency contacts using the GSM and GPS modules. The system aims to prevent accidents caused by unprotected or drunken riding, and facilitate faster emergency response times.
