2. Overview
Genre: Teen Drama/Horror.
What’s it about: A drug, eZ (play on ecstasy- e), which turns you into a
zombie (Z).
It’s set in several locations around Chelmsford.
The film is trying to convey the message that you have to be careful
because you never know what’s in a substance.
The target audience which is 15-39 would like and pay to see it because
it’s innovative and an interesting concept, it makes the audience think
to themselves, ‘you don’t know what’s in things which people give to
you off of the street’.
3. Opening
Sequence
My film signifies the genre of horror through the use of zombies. I think it would be an
interesting concept to see zombies in a party environment.
It begins with people hyped up for a party drugs are mentioned, meet dealer exchange
money for eZ, they arrive, drugs ingested, time passes (thinking a x2/3 motion capture),
pass out, wakes up, sits up, focus in on pupils dilating, face shot = ZOMBIE
Party-goers are invited to test out a recreational drug which they’re convinced is ecstasy,
when in actual fact, it’s a new drug, eZ
The style is similar to Project X and music video for ‘Hell of a Night’
Titles are integrated within the scene
There will be several uses of dialogue incorporated however not much as it wouldn’t suit
where I want the opening to go. The sound and light?
It’ll keep audience entertained as the music will be upbeat, party goings on are never
boring..
As far as I know the idea hasn’t been done before.
