CHIEF ENGINEER
Objective:
Managing and supervising the professional activities of units/teams/projects supporting and managing
production and operation of the exploration/production/refining/transmission/storage business process,
that deliver complex technical-economic services, representing and enforcing the Company's
interests towards suppliers.
Tasks/Responsibilities:
1. Take part in shaping the organisational strategy.
2. Manage the preparation of annual/monthly/ mid-term plans (cost, physical volume, energy,
production, training, audit HSE, logistics plans, etc.) of the business line
3. Supervise the building of systems to be implemented within the given business line and take part
in working out internal and statutory regulations, law decrees and instructions applicable to the
business line.
4. Manage integrated projects, teams and suppliers within the given business line.
5. Co-ordinate professional operation of units under control and/or partner organisations within the
region and external partners.
6. Supervise technical/economic evaluations of the business line supported and prepare
development and efficiency improvement proposal and supervise the implementation thereof
7. Responsible for co-operation with integrated partner/counter organisations, external partners and
authorities, provide business unit-level representation at external and Group-level forums
8. Operate the quality management-, environment protection- and the safety engineering manage-
ment system used within the given business line, manage the establishment of operating excel-
lence.
9. Comprehensively manage telecommunications system supervision activities.
10. Take part in the Company's acquisition efforts, evaluation of international assets, prepare requests
for bids and tender evaluations.
11. Carry out risk analyses and carry out delegated tasks in the case of emergency situations.
12. Perform supplier evaluation and qualification.

Required experience
- Higher education degree/ 5-8 years of professional
experience
- at US: 15 years of professional experience
- 3 years of management experience
Professional competencies
- Understanding the activities of the organisation within
his/her competence
- Understanding corporate level planning and reporting
processes
- Knowledge of supplier/customer markets, competitors,
licensers, etc.
- Understanding of processes of and internal regulations
applicable to the given area
- Understanding of the international standards of the
business line (IWCF, DEA, SPE, API,
etc.)
Language proficiency - Upper-intermediate English
