E.ON Secures Tax Equity Financing from GE Energy Financial Services
for Panther Creek I & II Wind Repowering Project in Texasa
E.ON announced it has secured more than $200 million in tax equity
financing to repower its Panther Creek I and Panther Creek II Wind
Farms in Texas. GE Energy Financial Services (‘GE EFS’) underwrote
and committed a portion of the tax equity, which allows E.ON to
significantly increase the lifespan of the combined 258 megawatt (MW)
sites. The repowering project increases the sites’ capacity factor through
the replacement and installation of new drive trains and the upgrade of
172 GE 1.5MW wind turbines with longer rotors. The project is
expected to reach commercial operation in December 2019. It created
239 construction jobs at the peak of the work on-site and required more
than 325,000 person-hours to complete. Local counties are collectively
projected to receive more than $30 million in property tax revenue from
the two projects over the next 25 years.
Executive Commentary
“Repowering sites like Panther Creek I and II allows us to increase
the amount of clean, renewable power that the facilities can produce
while simultaneously providing additional investment in local
communities through increased tax revenues,” said Chief Operating
Officer North America at E.ON. “This financing will help us
significantly prolong the operating life of these projects and increase
their capacity factor, allowing us to extract additional value from
existing infrastructure and continue growing the American clean
energy future.”

Solution Description
AutoForm Engineering GmbH, the leading supplier of software solutions for the sheet and tube metal forming industry, has
unveiled AutoForm TubeXpert R8. Building on the success of AutoForm Hydro 2016, this new software solution provides
extensive conceptual and functional enhancements to further streamline the digital process chain for tube bending, forming and
hydroforming companies. AutoForm TubeXpert R8 offers improved springback evaluation and compensation capabilities. With it,
users can perform accurate springback simulation after any of the forming process operations. The software then automatically
makes the necessary adjustments to the tool geometry and process parameters in order to compensate the effects of springback. The
compensation functionalities can be applied to tool geometries created by AutoForm TubeXpert R8 as well as to imported tool
geometries throughout all of the process operations. Thus, users are now well-equipped to reliably manage and compensate
springback effects even for complex processes and advanced materials. When setting up simulation and during results evaluation,
the ability to define and apply standards improves consistency in the engineering process, reduces the number of mistakes and
ensures compliance with in-house standards or those provided by clients. Based on the defined standards, the newly developed
issue detection automatically highlights forming issues and prevents quality deficiencies from being overlooked.

Solution Description
GE Healthcare launches Cell DIVE™ multiplexed imaging, an anti-body-based solution that builds on years of
research and development to transform immuno-oncology. This technology was developed by scientists for
scientists. The seminal work started in 2008 and the first patent was issued in 2009. Over the last decade, Cell
DIVE has been evaluated globally through multiple collaborators resulting in a library of publications,
presentations, and research. The milestone paper, Gerdes et al, (2013) in PNAS describes the ‘quantification and
visualization of heterogeneous patterns of mTOR/MAPK signaling proteins’ – tackling challenges in tumor
heterogeneity. All of this work brings us to the present moment with 400 validated commercially-available
antibodies and a robust solution reaching the market. At its core, scientists will iteratively probe, image, and
de-stain to capture thousands of spatial cellular data points from just one tissue image. With our extensive list of
validated antibodies, scientists can customize their own panels and have the flexibility to stain and image as they
need. Scientists can have confidence knowing that our gentle protocol won’t harm the tissue sample. No stripping
of antibodies or complicated sample prep required. GE Healthcare continued its commitment to quality by
ensuring this technology produces high quality image data through accurate registration and stitching technology.

GE Expands SF6-free High-Voltage Product Portfolio to Help Cut
Global Greenhouse Gas Emissions
Feel free to contact us at marketing@itshades.com for any queries

Solution Description
GE Renewable Energy’s Grid Solutions business announced plans to invest tens of millions of dollars
to expand its range of sulfur hexafluoride (SF6)-free high-voltage substation equipment to include all
key high-voltage levels by 2025. This is one of Grid Solution’s biggest portfolio investments in years
and will support customers in their efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. GE is the leader in
SF6-free high-voltage solutions with its Green Gas for Grid, or g3 (pronounced “g”- cubed) offering.
g3 products feature the same high performance and compact dimensional footprint as traditional
products, but with more than a 99% reduced global warming potential (GWP). To transmit electricity
safely across the grid from point of generation to the end consumer, substations are used to help
transform voltage levels from high to low or vice-versa, and to secure and dispatch the power flow.
Due to its strong insulating properties, SF6 is widely used in substation equipment such as switchgear
and instrument transformers, with the transmission industry accounting for approximately 80% of the
world’s usage. However, this potent greenhouse gas is estimated to contribute 23,500 times more
emissions than CO₂ in the event of a leakage and can remain in the atmosphere for up to 3,200 years.

One of the world’s leading architecture firms is taking its path-breaking designs to the next level with ray
tracing, using NVIDIA RTX technology. Zaha Hadid Architects, based in London, has created some of
the world’s most singular building designs. Its specialty research unit, Zaha Hadid Virtual Reality
(ZHVR) Group, has recently partnered with the team behind Epic Games’ Unreal Engine to develop a
real-time demo for one of its most stunning projects — Heydar Aliyev Center in Baku, Azerbaijan. With
NVIDIA Quadro RTX, ZHVR Group is able to use real-time ray tracing and rendering to create the
complexities of the building — including the curvaceous exterior, wavelike walls and intersecting bridges
that lead to the center’s museum, auditorium and library — to push what’s possible in the architecture
design process. For example, one critical yet challenging element of any architecture project is
developing the building’s exterior. RTX-powered advanced computing enables the designers to control
and communicate the complex designs while continuously collaborating with one another.

GE Hitachi Nuclear Energy Announces New Reactor Technology
Collaboration in Estonia
Feel free to contact us at marketing@itshades.com for any queries
26
GE Hitachi Nuclear Energy (GEH) and Fermi Energia OÜ have agreed to collaborate on potential deployment applications
for GEH’s BWRX-300 small modular reactor in Estonia. Fermi Energia is an Estonia-based company established by
nuclear industry professionals that is supporting the development of small modular reactors for deployment in Estonia. In a
Memorandum of Understanding signed by GEH and Fermi Energia, the companies have agreed to examine the economic
feasibility of constructing a BWRX-300 in Estonia, to review siting requirements and to assess nuclear regulatory
requirements. The BWRX-300, a 300 MWe water-cooled, natural circulation SMR with passive safety systems, leverages
the design and licensing basis of the U.S. NRC-certified ESBWR. Through dramatic design simplification, GEH projects
the BWRX-300 will require up to 60 percent less capital cost per MW when compared to other water-cooled SMRs or
existing large nuclear reactor designs. By leveraging the ESBWR design certification, utilizing licensed and proven fuel,
incorporating proven components and supply chains and implementing simplification innovations, GEH believes that the
BWRX-300 can become cost-competitive with power generation from combined cycle gas and renewables.

GE Healthcare and Theragnostics announce global commercial partnership
for late stage PSMA diagnostic for prostate cancer
Feel free to contact us at marketing@itshades.com for any queries
27
GE Healthcare and Theragnostics have entered into a global commercial partnership for a new Prostate-Specific Membrane
Antigen (PSMA) PET/CT imaging agent. Theragnostics will lead the development of the tracer, GalliProst, while GE
Healthcare will lead all pre-approval commercial preparations and as and when approval is received, all subsequent
commercial and distribution activities. Prostate cancer is the fourth largest cancer type accounting for just over 1.2 million
new cases and over 350,000 fatalities around the globe in 2018. The diagnostic workflow for detecting prostate cancer starts
through a blood test or biopsy, after which patients are typically referred for PET/CT imaging so that radiologists can see
their tumor, lymph nodes and any metastasis in order to decide the appropriate course of treatment. The ‘heatmap’ style
image enabled by the new tracer shows the precise location and intensity of PSMA, which is expressed on the surface of
prostate cancer cells. Theragnostics has reported data from a phase two clinical study which met its primary and secondary
endpoints, demonstrating that one third of newly diagnosed prostate cancer patients - and over 50% of patients with
biochemically recurrent disease - had their treatment plans modified as a result of a GalliProst scan. The change in patient
management increased to 75% in a post-radical radiotherapy setting.

Kongsberg And Man Energy Solutions Sign Mou For Collaboration On
Common Data Infrastructure For Maritime Sector
Feel free to contact us at marketing@itshades.com for any queries
29
KONGSBERG and MAN Energy Solutions have signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the purpose of
exploring the potential for collaboration on a common data infrastructure for the maritime sector. The collaboration
will broaden the value offering to vessel operators, improve return on investment in digital solutions and increase the
adoption of secure connectivity. Under the MoU, MAN Energy Solutions is set to investigate the possibility of using
Kongsberg Digital’s data-infrastructure solution, Vessel Insight, to securely collect and transmit data using MAN
Energy Solution’s digital platform, MAN CEON. A successful trial would allow MAN Energy Solutions to use
advanced services such as PrimeServ Assist, its remote monitoring and optimization package, to better serve
customers. The collaboration between the industrial software company and the world-leading engine and marine
solution provider aims to solve a key challenge for the broader adoption of digital solutions, namely the high cost of

GE Energy Financial Services (‘GE EFS’) underwrote and committed a portion of the tax equity, which allows E.ON to significantly increase the lifespan of the combined 258 megawatt (MW) sites. The repowering project increases the sites’ capacity factor through the replacement and installation of new drive trains and the upgrade of 172 GE 1.5MW wind turbines with longer rotors. The project is expected to reach commercial operation in December 2019. It created 239 construction jobs at the peak of the work on-site and required more than 325,000 person-hours to complete. Local counties are collectively projected to receive more than $30 million in property tax revenue from the two projects over the next 25 years. Executive Commentary “Repowering sites like Panther Creek I and II allows us to increase the amount of clean, renewable power that the facilities can produce while simultaneously providing additional investment in local communities through increased tax revenues,” said Chief Operating Officer North America at E.ON. “This financing will help us significantly prolong the operating life of these projects and increase their capacity factor, allowing us to extract additional value from existing infrastructure and continue growing the American clean energy future.” Feel free to contact us at marketing@itshades.com for any queries Description 2For more details, please click the link below: https://www.genewsroom.com/press-releases/eon-secures-tax-equity-financing-ge-energy-financial-services-panther-creek-i-ii

Solution Updates IT Shades Engage & Enable Ge Healthcare Launches Cell Dive For More Precise Cell Biomarker Analysis Feel free to contact us at marketing@itshades.com for any queries 6 Solution Description GE Healthcare launches Cell DIVE™ multiplexed imaging, an anti-body-based solution that builds on years of research and development to transform immuno-oncology. This technology was developed by scientists for scientists. The seminal work started in 2008 and the first patent was issued in 2009. Over the last decade, Cell DIVE has been evaluated globally through multiple collaborators resulting in a library of publications, presentations, and research. The milestone paper, Gerdes et al, (2013) in PNAS describes the ‘quantification and visualization of heterogeneous patterns of mTOR/MAPK signaling proteins’ – tackling challenges in tumor heterogeneity. All of this work brings us to the present moment with 400 validated commercially-available antibodies and a robust solution reaching the market. At its core, scientists will iteratively probe, image, and de-stain to capture thousands of spatial cellular data points from just one tissue image. With our extensive list of validated antibodies, scientists can customize their own panels and have the flexibility to stain and image as they need. Scientists can have confidence knowing that our gentle protocol won’t harm the tissue sample. No stripping of antibodies or complicated sample prep required. GE Healthcare continued its commitment to quality by ensuring this technology produces high quality image data through accurate registration and stitching technology. • 13. Solution Updates IT Shades Engage & Enable 3D Systems Unveils Breakthrough Material to Enable Direct Digital Production of Plastic Parts Feel free to contact us at marketing@itshades.com for any queries 7 Solution Description 3D Systems unveiled Figure 4 Production Black 10 (PRO-BLK 10) - a revolutionary production material for additive manufacturing applications that enables manufacturers to directly produce end-use plastic parts without tooling. This results in parts produced the same day versus weeks required with conventional tool-based approaches. In customer testing of a variety of parts, using the system and the new production black material delivered a part in hand on average up to 4X faster (including print and cure time), compared to customers’ existing 3D production systems. Several 3D Systems Figure 4 customers are already realizing the benefits of incorporating Figure 4 PRO-BLK 10 into their production workflows. Chris Nicoll, prototype lab manager at D&K Engineering - a product design and contract manufacturer based in San Diego, CA – has begun to use the material in his additive lab. • 14. Solution Updates IT Shades Engage & Enable GE Expands SF6-free High-Voltage Product Portfolio to Help Cut Global Greenhouse Gas Emissions Feel free to contact us at marketing@itshades.com for any queries 8 Solution Description GE Renewable Energy’s Grid Solutions business announced plans to invest tens of millions of dollars to expand its range of sulfur hexafluoride (SF6)-free high-voltage substation equipment to include all key high-voltage levels by 2025. This is one of Grid Solution’s biggest portfolio investments in years and will support customers in their efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. GE is the leader in SF6-free high-voltage solutions with its Green Gas for Grid, or g3 (pronounced “g”- cubed) offering. g3 products feature the same high performance and compact dimensional footprint as traditional products, but with more than a 99% reduced global warming potential (GWP). To transmit electricity safely across the grid from point of generation to the end consumer, substations are used to help transform voltage levels from high to low or vice-versa, and to secure and dispatch the power flow. Due to its strong insulating properties, SF6 is widely used in substation equipment such as switchgear and instrument transformers, with the transmission industry accounting for approximately 80% of the world’s usage. However, this potent greenhouse gas is estimated to contribute 23,500 times more emissions than CO₂ in the event of a leakage and can remain in the atmosphere for up to 3,200 years. • 36. Partner Ecosystem Updates IT Shades Engage & Enable GE Healthcare and Theragnostics announce global commercial partnership for late stage PSMA diagnostic for prostate cancer Feel free to contact us at marketing@itshades.com for any queries 27 GE Healthcare and Theragnostics have entered into a global commercial partnership for a new Prostate-Specific Membrane Antigen (PSMA) PET/CT imaging agent. Theragnostics will lead the development of the tracer, GalliProst, while GE Healthcare will lead all pre-approval commercial preparations and as and when approval is received, all subsequent commercial and distribution activities. Prostate cancer is the fourth largest cancer type accounting for just over 1.2 million new cases and over 350,000 fatalities around the globe in 2018. The diagnostic workflow for detecting prostate cancer starts through a blood test or biopsy, after which patients are typically referred for PET/CT imaging so that radiologists can see their tumor, lymph nodes and any metastasis in order to decide the appropriate course of treatment. The ‘heatmap’ style image enabled by the new tracer shows the precise location and intensity of PSMA, which is expressed on the surface of prostate cancer cells. Theragnostics has reported data from a phase two clinical study which met its primary and secondary endpoints, demonstrating that one third of newly diagnosed prostate cancer patients - and over 50% of patients with biochemically recurrent disease - had their treatment plans modified as a result of a GalliProst scan. The change in patient management increased to 75% in a post-radical radiotherapy setting.
