Duke (USA) Energy begins construction on largest solar plant in Surry
County N.C.
For any queries, Please write to marketing@itshades.com

Solution Description
Duke Energy continues to expand solar power in North Carolina with construction starting on its 22.6-megawatt (MW) Stony Knoll Solar power plant. Once
completed, it will be the largest solar plant in Surry County. The project will be owned and operated by Duke Energy Sustainable Solutions. The project was
selected as part of the competitive bidding process established by 2017’s solar legislation in North Carolina. The solar plant will contain 76,600 Trina Solar
bifacial modules with single-axis tracking. The plant will be located on 195 acres in Dobson, N.C. – near Rockford Road. The facility will power the
equivalent of 5,000 homes. It is targeting commercial operation by the end of 2021. Under North Carolina’s Competitive Procurement for Renewable Energy,
proposed projects must be built where there is a need for energy capacity on the Duke Energy system in North Carolina or South Carolina. The bids can come
from any company, including Duke Energy, and can be in the form of power purchase agreements (PPA), utility self-developed facilities or utility asset
acquisitions. During peak construction, Stony Knoll Solar will create about 70 jobs. Along with indirect economic benefits that accompany solar project
development, such as increased local spending in the service and construction industries, Stony Knoll Solar will also have a positive economic impact on the
local community by providing local tax revenues to the county and local school districts, as well as meaningful payments to the participating landowners.
Duke Energy Sustainable Solutions also supports the communities where its facilities and team members are based through the efforts of the Duke Energy
Foundation. In January, the company awarded $10,000 to Copeland Elementary School in Dobson to fund the purchase of Chromebooks for students.

Solution Description
The Exelon Foundation in collaboration with Exelon Corp., a Fortune 100 company and the nation’s largest generator of carbon-free energy, has
announced the return of its annual STEM Leadership Academy, which was launched in 2018 to encourage female students to pursue careers in
Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM). The Exelon Foundation hosts the STEM Academy events in cities where Exelon has
operating companies. The 2021 iteration of the Academy will be held for 180 students in Chicago (July 11-16), Philadelphia (July 25-30) and
Washington D.C./Baltimore (August 1-6). Amid easing pandemic restrictions, Academy participants will gather masked and in person for the first
day of each Academy. All participants will return to a virtual format for the remainder of each Academy, which will examine issues relating to
climate change. As part of the three week-long Academy events, 60 high school girls in each market will gather on the first day of the Academy to
pick up tools and needed supplies for experiments during the week, and then participate in online educational seminars, discussions and hands-on
workshops on the remaining days. Attendees also will take virtual field trips to noteworthy STEM-related landmarks in each host city. This year’s
Academy event will place a special focus on addressing the growing impacts of climate change and the disproportionate ways it is affecting the
most under-resourced populations. Students will be challenged to design their own energy-efficient product prototypes, with a panel of judges
selecting a winning project at the conclusion of each Academy.

Iberdrola (Spain) awards fabrication of Baltic Eagle foundations to EEW
SPC and Windar--ennnn
For any queries, Please write to marketing@itshades.com
11
Iberdrola has finalised the procurement process for Baltic Eagle with the award of the project's last key contract, the manufacturing of offshore foundations, to
EEW SPC and Windar. German company EEW SPC will deliver 50 monopiles while Spanish company Windar will fabricate the same number of transition pieces,
which links the turbine towers to the foundations. Both companies have extensive experience in the offshore wind sector, having supplied components and
equipment to numerous projects across Europe. The monopiles will be fabricated at EEW's mega-factory in Rostock, located by the Baltic Sea. Grouped into deep
and shallow clusters, the monopiles are between 9m and 8.75m in diameter and their range in length varies from 75 to 90 meters, depending on the water depth for
each wind turbine position. The heaviest monopile is 1,402 tonnes and EEW SPC will be processing about 64,600 tonnes of steel for this order, starting in January
2022 and running through to January 2023. Load out will begin in April 2023 and the installation campaign is scheduled to last approximately six weeks. The main
construction activities for the transition pieces will be carried out in Windar´s shipyard located in Avilés. This manufacturing process will involve some 30 Windar
suppliers in the North of Spain, including steel production, components, equipment, and testing and auxiliary machinery companies. The contract will create 800
jobs and 1.3 million man-hours. Fabrication works will begin in October 2021 and will run through to December 2022, with load out planned for the beginning of
2023. With a production capacity of 476 MW, the Baltic Eagle offshore wind farm will supply renewable energy to 475,000 households, while saving nearly one
million tons of CO2 emissions each year. It is scheduled to be fully operational by the end of 2024.

Iberdrola (Spain) wins more than 15% of new onshore wind capacity
auctioned in Poland
For any queries, Please write to marketing@itshades.com
12
Iberdrola is making progress in its commitment to develop renewables in Poland, one of the company's new growth markets for the years ahead.
The company has been awarded 50 megawatts (MW) of the total 300 MW of onshore wind capacity auctioned in the country, representing almost
17% of the total. This brings the company's onshore wind capacity in operation and under development in the country to 163 MW, after recently
completing its agreement with CEE Equity Partners, signed in March. This deal included the acquisition of two operational wind farms, with 112.5
MW of capacity, and access to a third, with 50 MW, confirmed at the auction. Almost all of Iberdrola´s onshore wind capacity in Poland is
associated with 10-year power purchase agreements (PPAs). The company also has a portfolio of seven offshore projects, with a potential capacity
of up to 7,300 MW, following the recent acquisition of 70% of the developer Sea Wind. With these offshore projects Iberdrola is working on the
implementation of the Baltic Sea Hub. The Hub will act as a focal point for offshore and onshore services, as well as providing local content for
Iberdrola's projects in Germany, Poland and Sweden. The Baltic Sea has an offshore wind development potential of 93,000 MW, of which 28,000
MW would be in Polish waters. The result of auction also confirms Iberdrola's commitment to Poland, where it operates a local development team.
It also reaffirms the company's strategy of growing in A-rated countries - more than 75% of its Ebitda in 2020 came from A-rated countries.

Corinth Pipeworks, the steel pipes segment of Cenergy Holdings, is executing with Snam, one of the world's largest energy infrastructure companies, orders for 440km
of pipes. The above orders are among the first high-pressure newly manufactured pipes certified to transport up to 100% hydrogen for a transmission gas pipeline in
Europe. Following the framework of ASME B31.12 Option B, Corinth Pipeworks and Snam cooperation provides a technically and economically feasible solution for
the safe transportation of hydrogen at high pressures through large diameter/high strength steel pipelines. Thus, pipes produced and installed in the current gas network
can cover the energy mix of tomorrow. As required by this standard the pipes, in L415ME steel grade with an outside diameter of 26” (660mm) and thicknesses of
11,1mm & 15,9mm, have been tested in laboratory at maximum pressure and 100% hydrogen. The full quantity of hydrogen certified pipes was manufactured in Corinth
Pipeworks' plant in Thisvi, Greece. Scope of supply also includes external 3LPE anti-corrosion coating and internal liquid epoxy lining applied at the same location as
pipe manufacturing. With the support of its long-term partner in Italy, PIPEX Italia, Corinth Pipeworks has been a trusted supplier of Snam for over a decade with more
than 1,000Km of completed and under execution pipeline projects. In the context of this commonly organized project, Corinth Pipeworks and Snam have successfully
concluded the necessary action plan enabling these gas line pipes to be certified for up to 100% hydrogen. Action plan incorporated analysis of hydrogen design codes,
development of pertinent qualification specifications and test procedures, design of steel according to recommended practices and specialized long-term test campaigns

Basic Agreement Signed on the Introduction of Automatic LPG Meter Reading Service,
Using Chubu Electric Power's (Japan) Smart Meter Communications Network
For any queries, Please write to marketing@itshades.com

Enegene Co., Ltd. and Chubu Electric Power Co., Inc. are pleased to announce that they signed a basic agreement after reaching consensus on
Enegene’s adoption of the automatic gas meter reading service that makes use of Chubu Electric Power's smart meter communications network.
As Japan's population decreases and ages, information technology advances, and customer needs diversify further, expectations are high that
utilizing ICT and IoT will reduce labor required for meter reading and lead to the creation of new services. Enegene has been utilizing telephone
lines in some supply areas (in Shizuoka prefecture) to remotely obtain LPG usage, gas leakage as well as other information and data about alerts
and gas residual volumes. The company has also employed this technology to remotely shut off, restore and perform other LPG meter operations.
Pursuant to this Basic Agreement, both parties will strive to improve customer service and reduce labor involved in meter reading operations as
they proceed in FY2021 to install wireless communication terminals on LP gas meters and implement automatic meter reading and other services
utilizing Chubu Electric Power's smart meter communications network in Enegene’s service area principally west of the Fuji River. Chubu Electric
Power will continue to help LPG, city gas, and water service operators adopt automatic meter reading, using its smart meter communications
network, as part of the community support infrastructure business designed to contribute to resolving social issues.

Dominion Energy and Berkshire Hathaway Energy, an affiliate of Berkshire Hathaway Inc. announced they have agreed to terminate the
planned sale of Questar Pipelines to Berkshire Hathaway Energy. The decision is a result of ongoing uncertainty associated with
achieving clearance from the Federal Trade Commission under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act of 1976. Termination
of the sale, effective July 9, 2021, was a potential outcome provided for in the agreement to sell Questar Pipelines. The decision has no
impact on the sale of gas transmission and storage assets to Berkshire Hathaway Energy completed in November 2020. That sale
represented approximately 80% of the original transaction value. Dominion Energy is commencing a competitive process for the sale of
Questar Pipelines, with a target close of year-end 2021. Announcement does not change Dominion Energy's existing financial guidance.
Dominion Energy will continue to account for Questar Pipelines as discontinued operations. Dominion Energy intends to enter into a
364-day term loan. The company will use proceeds from the loan to repay the approximately $1.3 billion transaction deposit made by
Berkshire Hathaway Energy. That loan is expected to be repaid by year-end 2021 with proceeds from the sale of Questar Pipelines to an
alternative buyer.

framework collaboration agreement with Windar and Navantia for the manufacture and supply of 130 XXL monopile foundations. Through this
agreement, Iberdrola could place orders with these manufacturers worth up to 400 million euros between 2023 and 2025 for future offshore wind farms
and it secures the preferential supply of a portion of these components for the coming years. From this signing, the consortium formed by Windar and
Navantia will start up an XXL monopile factory on land at the Navantia shipyard in Fene (A Coruña). The construction of this factory will improve the
capabilities of the Navantia shipyard in Fene, providing it with a new product within the fixed marine foundations sector. This diversification was not
accessible until now because it required very specific facilities, with the monopile being the star product in the foundations market over the last decade,
which will continue in the coming years. The investment planned by Windar-Navantia includes the adaptation of a building for curving thick sheet metal
with a diameter of up to 16 m, new paint booths and storage areas for finished products, as well as the latest technology equipment necessary for
manufacturing. The new XXL monopile factory, which will manufacture foundations over 100 m long and weighing up to 2,500 t, will be available

Sembcorp Industries through its UK subsidiary Sembcorp Energy UK announces a collaboration agreement with Zero Degrees Whitetail Development
Ltd., the UK subsidiary of US innovation firm 8 Rivers Capital, to explore the development of the UK’s first Net Zero emissions NET Power station at
SEUK’s Wilton International site on Teesside. Named Whitetail Clean Energy (Whitetail), the project is expected to produce about 300 megawatts
(MW) of clean, efficient, low-cost electricity, with potential expansion options in the future. The Wilton International site in northeast England offers
convenient port and pipeline access, where all Whitetail’s captured carbon dioxide can be conveniently transported to UK sequestration sites to be
permanently stored in secure geological formations deep under the North Sea. Subject to UK regulatory support and if finalised to proceed, the
collaboration agreement is an important milestone in advancing the decarbonisation of Teesside towards Net Zero, through the deployment of new
technology. The Whitetail facility is expected to harness the Allam-Fetvedt Cycle (AFC), a new type of power cycle pioneered by 8 Rivers Capital and
NET Power, LLC, a clean energy technology company in the United States. The process combusts natural gas with oxygen, rather than air, and uses
supercritical carbon dioxide (CO2) as a working fluid to drive a turbine instead of steam. As a result, all air emissions, including traditional pollutants
and CO2, are eliminated and pipeline-quality CO2 is produced so that it can be captured and stored offshore, making Whitetail a Net Zero emissions
plant.

Sempra Energy (USA) and National Renewable Energy Laboratory Collaborate
to Advance Future Net-Zero Energy Systems
For any queries, Please write to marketing@itshades.com

Sempra Energy announced it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the U.S. Department of Energy's National Renewable Energy Laboratory
(NREL), providing a framework for a joint effort to advance future net-zero energy systems. The MOU, which builds off nearly 10 years of ongoing collaboration, will
continue current work researching and developing innovative solutions to help shape a lower-carbon future through technology and applications capable of withstanding
increasing energy demand and broad adoption while advancing future innovation. Sempra Energy and NREL have been collaborating for nearly a decade on cooperative
and multi-year projects exploring the development, access and integration of low-carbon fuels and microgrid technology. In 2013, Sempra Energy's subsidiary San Diego
Gas & Electric Co. (SDG&E) and NREL joined to establish the nation's first utility-owned community microgrid in Borrego Springs, Calif., connected to a local
26-megawatt solar field (owned by a third party), two battery storage systems, two generators, and an ultracapacitor. The microgrid, which is being upgraded so that it
can operate on 100% clean energy, was designed to provide consistent power flowing to the remote desert town during emergencies and planned outages on the larger
grid. In 2017, Sempra Energy's subsidiary Southern California Gas Co. (SoCalGas) and NREL partnered to create, validate and integrate the nation's first carbon-free,
power-to-gas pilot-system. The technology takes excess electricity and converts it to hydrogen, which can be used, stored, or combined with carbon dioxide and fed to a
bioreactor to produce renewable natural gas (RNG). This innovative technology could provide North America with a large-scale, cost-effective solution for storing excess
energy produced from renewable sources. Additionally, Sempra Energy and NREL have coordinated efforts to research the impacts of hydrogen blending in natural gas
networks, and studied potential pathways for wholesale market access to hydrogen production facilities.

For any queries, Please write to marketing@itshades.com 1 Solution Description Duke Energy continues to expand solar power in North Carolina with construction starting on its 22.6-megawatt (MW) Stony Knoll Solar power plant. Once completed, it will be the largest solar plant in Surry County. The project will be owned and operated by Duke Energy Sustainable Solutions. The project was selected as part of the competitive bidding process established by 2017’s solar legislation in North Carolina. The solar plant will contain 76,600 Trina Solar bifacial modules with single-axis tracking. The plant will be located on 195 acres in Dobson, N.C. – near Rockford Road. The facility will power the equivalent of 5,000 homes. It is targeting commercial operation by the end of 2021. Under North Carolina’s Competitive Procurement for Renewable Energy, proposed projects must be built where there is a need for energy capacity on the Duke Energy system in North Carolina or South Carolina. The bids can come from any company, including Duke Energy, and can be in the form of power purchase agreements (PPA), utility self-developed facilities or utility asset acquisitions. During peak construction, Stony Knoll Solar will create about 70 jobs. Along with indirect economic benefits that accompany solar project development, such as increased local spending in the service and construction industries, Stony Knoll Solar will also have a positive economic impact on the local community by providing local tax revenues to the county and local school districts, as well as meaningful payments to the participating landowners. Duke Energy Sustainable Solutions also supports the communities where its facilities and team members are based through the efforts of the Duke Energy Foundation. In January, the company awarded $10,000 to Copeland Elementary School in Dobson to fund the purchase of Chromebooks for students.

The Exelon Foundation hosts the STEM Academy events in cities where Exelon has operating companies. The 2021 iteration of the Academy will be held for 180 students in Chicago (July 11-16), Philadelphia (July 25-30) and Washington D.C./Baltimore (August 1-6). Amid easing pandemic restrictions, Academy participants will gather masked and in person for the first day of each Academy. All participants will return to a virtual format for the remainder of each Academy, which will examine issues relating to climate change. As part of the three week-long Academy events, 60 high school girls in each market will gather on the first day of the Academy to pick up tools and needed supplies for experiments during the week, and then participate in online educational seminars, discussions and hands-on workshops on the remaining days. Attendees also will take virtual field trips to noteworthy STEM-related landmarks in each host city. This year’s Academy event will place a special focus on addressing the growing impacts of climate change and the disproportionate ways it is affecting the most under-resourced populations. Students will be challenged to design their own energy-efficient product prototypes, with a panel of judges selecting a winning project at the conclusion of each Academy.

Named Whitetail Clean Energy (Whitetail), the project is expected to produce about 300 megawatts (MW) of clean, efficient, low-cost electricity, with potential expansion options in the future. The Wilton International site in northeast England offers convenient port and pipeline access, where all Whitetail’s captured carbon dioxide can be conveniently transported to UK sequestration sites to be permanently stored in secure geological formations deep under the North Sea. Subject to UK regulatory support and if finalised to proceed, the collaboration agreement is an important milestone in advancing the decarbonisation of Teesside towards Net Zero, through the deployment of new technology. The Whitetail facility is expected to harness the Allam-Fetvedt Cycle (AFC), a new type of power cycle pioneered by 8 Rivers Capital and NET Power, LLC, a clean energy technology company in the United States. The process combusts natural gas with oxygen, rather than air, and uses supercritical carbon dioxide (CO2) as a working fluid to drive a turbine instead of steam. As a result, all air emissions, including traditional pollutants and CO2, are eliminated and pipeline-quality CO2 is produced so that it can be captured and stored offshore, making Whitetail a Net Zero emissions plant. Partner Ecosystem Updates IT Shades Engage & Enable Sempra Energy (USA) and National Renewable Energy Laboratory Collaborate to Advance Future Net-Zero Energy Systems For any queries, Please write to marketing@itshades.com 44 Sempra Energy announced it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the U.S. Department of Energy's National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL), providing a framework for a joint effort to advance future net-zero energy systems. The MOU, which builds off nearly 10 years of ongoing collaboration, will continue current work researching and developing innovative solutions to help shape a lower-carbon future through technology and applications capable of withstanding increasing energy demand and broad adoption while advancing future innovation. Sempra Energy and NREL have been collaborating for nearly a decade on cooperative and multi-year projects exploring the development, access and integration of low-carbon fuels and microgrid technology. In 2013, Sempra Energy's subsidiary San Diego Gas & Electric Co. (SDG&E) and NREL joined to establish the nation's first utility-owned community microgrid in Borrego Springs, Calif., connected to a local 26-megawatt solar field (owned by a third party), two battery storage systems, two generators, and an ultracapacitor. The microgrid, which is being upgraded so that it can operate on 100% clean energy, was designed to provide consistent power flowing to the remote desert town during emergencies and planned outages on the larger grid. In 2017, Sempra Energy's subsidiary Southern California Gas Co. (SoCalGas) and NREL partnered to create, validate and integrate the nation's first carbon-free, power-to-gas pilot-system. The technology takes excess electricity and converts it to hydrogen, which can be used, stored, or combined with carbon dioxide and fed to a bioreactor to produce renewable natural gas (RNG). This innovative technology could provide North America with a large-scale, cost-effective solution for storing excess energy produced from renewable sources. Additionally, Sempra Energy and NREL have coordinated efforts to research the impacts of hydrogen blending in natural gas networks, and studied potential pathways for wholesale market access to hydrogen production facilities.
